Can I Date Without Sex?

Sex is an act between two consenting adults and if any of the partner does it against the will of the other, then it becomes rape. Sex can also be seen as a mutual agreement between two matured mind.
Sex is a terrific experience that has been ordained by God. It becomes unholy. unlawful, immoral when it is practised pre-maritally. Pre-marital sex has now become a common phenomenon among young people, that it is seen as a sign of love. There has been so many campaigns against sex before marriage, even the Holy books clearly kicked against it, yet single men and women ignorantly and blindfoldedlygo into pre-marital sex.
This argument on pre-marital sex could go on till infinity, because there are a million and one single men and women out there, who believe they must have sex with whoever they are dating. To many people sex is a way of showing commitment, a sign of love and pleasure.
So many young people have misconsrtued the idea of sex and many singles believe it is an act of love. Most singles fail to realise that sex is not love and love is not sex.
There are so many reasons why single men and women should stay out of pre-marital sex until they are married. One of the reasons is that; 1. Pre-marital sex is a sin before God Almighty. God supports and encourages sex when it is being practise in marriage. 2. Another reason against pre-marital sex is the contraction of deadly infections or sexually transmitted diseases. 3. Pre-marital sex also leads to unwanted pregnancy.
To some people the two consequences above could be avoided by practising safe sex. But above all God Almighty frowns at sex before marriage.
Often curiosity pushes one to sex. It starts with the question; What do they have underneath the clothes? Also, the irresistible femine endowment in women attracts some men for sex.
For most men, it is for pleasure and for a few women, it is out of love. Gone are the days when anyone would be forced to practise no marriage no sex relationship.
Although some churches and other religious groups preach against sex before marriage, the number of young men and women involved in sex on daily basis in religious organisations is alarming.
But, is it possible to date without sex? That is a question that will be mutually answered by two persons involved in the affair and not a counsellor.

How to Treat Heartbreaks

Most young people within the ages of 15 to 30 have been heart broken or have broken someone's heart. Victims of heartbreak often go through emotional disorder or even commit suicide due to disappointment.
At 28, Paul, an Architect has encounter 2 heartbreaks. The last relationship he had was with Tina. Tina jilted him for Paul's best friend out covetousness. Paul felt disappointed and almost committed suicide, but for the quick intervention of his neighbour. "I dont think I will ever love a lady again and I cannot give any lady my trust, they are all cheats". Paul lamented. Paul finds it difficult to love again and prefers being a play boy.
Tessy's experience is almost similar to that of Paul. At 26, Tessy, a Banker is yet to find her Mr. Right. She has experienced several heartbreaks from different men. Her last jilter was Femi. Tessy and Femi had a smooth relationship. The had both done the ceremonial traditional wedding. The planned to get married in three months time, until Femi lustfully impregnated his secretary in the office. He had no choice than to claim responsibility and father the child. Tessy now holds the notion that all men are wolves dressed in a sheep clothing.
Heartbreak comes with emotional breakdown, distrust, hatred and most times mental disorder. There are so many things that lead to heartbreak. Below are some of the few causes of heartbreak.
1. Lack of love: Love is the foundation in which every relationship is built. When you are into a relationship that your partner never had true love for you, but got into the relationship for a selfish reason, the so called love tends to depreciate and later die. The difference between true love and false love is that true love does not ware out and does not die, but false love dies. When the love finally dies, the relationship also dies, thereby, leading to heartbreak 2. Misunderstanding: I have seen so many relationships and marriages breaking up due to misunderstanding, lack of trust or lack of love between the two parties. Because of misunderstanding in a relationship, A relationship will die prematurely. Inotherwords, one of the party's heart is broken 3. Covetousness: Having a very strong desire for another person's man or woman at expense of your own partner causes heartbreak. Once a partner becomes covetous, he or she ends up putting the other party at emotional disorder and mental degradation. The first heartbreak I experience was due to covetousness. My partner left me for another man, who was a little bit richer than I. Most covetouspeople end up regreting their action after breaking their partner's heart. There is common adage that says,"The Devil you know is better than the angel you dont know". This leads me to another adage that says " It is not everything that glitters that is gold".
Emotional breakdown is a step to suicidal track. Heartbreaks have lead to the untimely death of so many people. In a bid to treat or reduce emotional breakdown or mental degradation due to heatrtbreak. I have decided to give some tips on how to deal with heartbreaks. Here are some tips
1. Make yourself believe that he or she is not meant for you by changing your style of thinking
2. Change your wardrobe and make yourself look good.
3 Make new friends
4. Open up to someone you can trust, because some problems shared are atimes half solved
5. Try to be creative and have a positive mentality.
6. Finally, socialise with new friends, old friends, family members, colleagues, etc.
